Safe arrival

Hello to all the parents anxiously awaiting word of the safe arrival of their heroes. Everyone has arrived at Seneca College where they will either be picked up by their parents this evening or sleep tonight and catch a flight tomorrow. They were a great group of students and we miss them already.

Our coaches will be on the way to Santiago in about an hour to pick up our new group. We'll see the happy wanderers in the wee hours of the morning :)

Thanks Cathy... I know none of these Hero's are mine... and I'm not sure about the other parents here... but I feel like our kids now belong to a very special community... a global one... and you know what they say "it takes a whole village to raise a child"... in this case... our child went to the village! I'm very happy to know the first bunch have arrived home safe and sound! The perfect ending to a life altering experience!

Much love to all

Glad to hear Week 1 Heros are back home safe. My Hero is still down there for Week 2. We are very proud of you Kyle and love you oodles..... take extra care tomorrow when you go with the team to Haiti...... oh and in case I didn't mention it in our phone call....STICK WITH THE GROUP! Hopefully for us back home the 2nd week will pass as quickly as the first and we'll have you back with us shortly. Can't wait to hear your stories and see all your pictures. Great big hugs and a huge kiss to our Kyle.

Love Mom Dad & Celine Burley

Hello Burleys... my hero (Heather H.)is there as well for both sessions... and heading to Haiti tomorrow... she's been given the same "stick to them like glue" instructions from this side as well! LOL... There are many prayers being said out there tonight around the world on the prayer lists... that they will all return safely tomorrow pm to the resort... and call to tell us they are there safely immediately!! ;>)

Love you Fuzzy!
